Leah’s interest in representing people harmed by vaccinations came from personal experience. In 2010, Leah received a vaccine in her shoulder and later suffered from chronic pain. Prior to starting her legal career, Leah Durant worked with people suffering from severe medical and developmental disabilities. She earned her law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2004, and became a trial attorney with the Civil Division of the United States Department of Justice, arguing cases before many United States Courts of Appeal. Leah Durant is admitted to practice in Washington, DC and New Jersey. She is additionally admitted in the 2nd, 7th and 9th Circuit United States Courts of Appeal. Leah is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
